Beginner & Advanced

Advanced Hitting Clinics
 

Hitting clinics are individually focused, which means they are designed to increase the athlete's ability to perform their hitting skills. Athletes learn the importance of proper technique and skill development through high repetition. Clinics are specifically designed to develop the skills of ball contact, jumping, footwork, timing and with focus on technique and movement. 

  • Develop good attacking habits

  • Build arm speed (attack with power)

  • Attacking footwork to adjust to a variety of sets

  • Transition footwork patterns (we’ll help players come off and go back to the net efficiently)

  • Out of system offensive progression

  • Pass to attack combination drills

 

*Advanced clinics are for athletes who can perform the skill above a basic level.  I.e knows their approach footwork and hand contact well.

**Sessions are open to 5th-12th graders.

Advanced Passing Clinics
 

Passing clinics are individually focused, which means they are designed to increase the athlete's ability to perform their passing skills. Athletes learn the importance of proper technique and skill development through high repetition. Clinics are specifically designed to develop the skills of footwork, arm position, serve receive, defense and with focus on technique and movement. 

  • Develop good passing habits

  • Defensive transition footwork patterns (we'll help players go from base to defense efficiently)

  • Learn how to read the hitter

  • Build consistency in serve receive

  • Game like repetitions 

 

*Advanced clinics are for athletes who can perform the skill above a basic level. I.e.  understands platform and angles

**Sessions are open to 5th-12th graders.

Advanced Setting  Clinics
 

Setting clinics are individually focused, which means they are designed to increase the athlete's ability to perform their setting skills. Athletes learn the importance of proper technique and skill development through high repetition. Clinics are specifically designed to develop the skills of setting footwork, hand position, setting location, and focus on technique and movement.

  • Develop neutral setting hands (hand shape and release point)

  • Emphasis on balanced posture and quickness

  • Developing footwork patterns to allow the setter to get in rhythm to execute the set

  • Psychology of setting

  • Game-like repetitions

Advanced clinics are for athletes who can perform the skill above a basic level. I.e. understands setting form and footwork

**Sessions are open to 5th-12th graders.

Advanced Serving Clinics
 

Serving clinics are individually focused, which means they are designed to increase the athlete's ability to perform their serving skills. Athletes learn the importance of proper technique and skill development through high repetition. Clinics are specifically designed to develop the skills of serving footwork, hand position, setting location, and focus on technique and movement.

  • Develop proper serving technique

  • Emphasis on balanced posture, core strength, arm swing and hand contact

  • Isolating movements to further strengthen skill

  • Game-like repetitions

 

*Advanced clinics are for athletes who can perform the skill above a basic level. I.e. can consistently serve over the net and wants to work on placement and power

**Sessions are open to 5th-12th graders.

  • Learn setting footwork
